The Soup Kitchen

Saturday holds a surprise: an apron that is too big, a kitchen full of chopping, stirring, and sizzling, and a line of neighbors waiting for lunch. Serving ladles of love, sitting down with the people they serve, and hearing what Jesus said in Matthew 25:35 changes one kid's whole weekend - giving, it turns out, feels better than getting. Ten warm chapters that end the only way they could: "Next Saturday."
