Jason Lynch has an eye for fabrics. This can be very useful as a tailor. But he has a power which enables him to see beyond the textures and color of fabric? he can see thoughts, emotions and memories embedded in them. And there is more to his unusual power. He has the ability to pull a person?s spirit from their body and, after placing it in cotton, can change what they think, feel and remember.

He has kept his ability a secret his entire life, fearful of what would happen if anyone found out. Only his girlfriend, Alice, knows what he can do. And she knows the inherent danger of his power.

After years of keeping his secret safe, Jason reveals his unique abilities to a trusted client in order to save the man?s daughter.
