The Thirteen Masteries

Nine gifted people are gathered together and taken to a mysterious hidden island where they learn about their distinct special abilities. They are given the charge to find Vaal, a powerful man who creates terror all over the island, but hasn't been seen in centuries. As their gifts grow more powerful they discover that their task will not be as easy as they thought, as well as secrets hidden all over that they were never meant to find.
