If you leave a door half-open, soon you'll hear the whispers spoken...

Fifteen years ago, a serial killer known only as 'The Whisper Man' wreaked havoc on the sleepy village of Featherbank.

But with the killer behind bars, the village is now a safe haven for Tom and his young son Jake to make a fresh start.

Until another boy goes missing. It feels like history is repeating itself.

Could the killer still be out there - and can Tom protect his son from becoming the next victim?

Alina Anouchka ,

An explosive book

This is an exceptional thriller. At first very “simple” with a serial killer plot and all... But then it spreads its wings beautifully with a lot of suspense, guessing, emotions, strong characters, trauma situations, vivid life situations, a little “paranormal” events now and then, and more and more. The relationship between father & son is beautifully written specially because it is a difficult one with the death of the mother/wife. The characters are deep and cleverly explained, vivid, human. This story feels real by every little aspect of it. This author has a a talent to express and explain complex characters that gives depth to the story. No time fasted with boring insignificant description of furnitures ;) it’s fast paced & masterfullly crafted.
It is packed with a lot of strong and different emotions. It gives you the feeling you are there, inside this story with them, living it at the very same time. Which is also very frightening and horrifying because the vilains ARE real and VERY vile ! I adored Jack and his child point of view. The paranormal additions were kinda great too, totally believable! It was a fantastic read, one of my favorite this year so far ! I’m looking forward for his next new novel coming up soon :)
