Miss Eastleigh has her first season in London. She has the hope of being courted by several candidates but finds herself in a rather dire situation due to an ancient scandal surrounding her parents.
Will she lure a lord? Not if Lord McDonald has his way. He heard about the whispers and directly saves his friend from Augusta
But was the first impression the right one?
As the previous story in this series I liked it a lot. Fast paced, witty and entertaining. Mr Wilverton is hilarious. He should marry Miss Hibbert in the next book! Hopefully Simon will have his way and Hamish starts to see Mrs Petherbridge as more than a nurse. In this hope I will humbly be waiting for the next book in this wonderful series.
