The town of Taos was a bit concerned when Slimy Beach started cutting people down with a pair of sawed-off shotguns, but he was a first-rate latrine digger, and it seemed a waste to lose such a valuable talent to the hangman’s noose. Besides, he had a knack of shooting people that needed killing.
