Not everyone has the talent for power. Those who do are called Gifted. Cedika Heiko is a young man without any Gift, disillusioned by his boring life, and numb to the volatile world around him. Tragedy strikes, and a mysterious woman claiming to be the Rose's Goddess of Darkness offers him power at the price of loyalty. As the world he knows crumbles around him, Cedika is forced into the grand adventure he longed for. He must face the reality that the peace he once took for granted is gone forever. As a dark madness slowly claws at the back of his mind, will his new life and companions be able to help him with his journey, or will he destroy himself along the way?
