Undertaken by God: Equally Yoked was written to expound on the different facets of relationships between two individuals in a marriage. Being equally yoked doesn’t mean that two perfect people have been joined together who share the same passions. It doesn’t mean they understand everything about each other and that they don’t have differences, and neither does it mean that they are living a perfect fairy-tale life. In fact, it’s totally opposite from a fairy-tale lifestyle. In this book, you will find that the yoke that has bound us together is the yoke that the Bible speaks of in Matthew 11:29 when he says, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest in your souls.” God is the key to marriage, and he distributes equally to those who want him. To be undertaken by God means that he carries us through the chaotic times in marriage.
