Until Recently

You woke simply happy, having slept well. They hadn’t come which was often. You’d thought the night before certain events would take place leaving you desperately hanging on through some form a teaching taught years ago. Last night was just time spent in dark places. Obscure is your manner. You wonder sitting there studying an abstract language, smelling ripened banana accompanying blacked papaya, whether those night wanderings paid your dues, thinking should others have the same.
