Victorian Things

Victorian Things by Asa Briggs, first published in 1988, is one of the great seminal works on 19th century social history. This new edition that has been separated into three parts covers Victoria’s reign and explores the world of domestic and commercial objects, from stamps and needles to bicycles and the electric telegraph.
