Vision of Change

In the summer of 1975 reveals the relationship of two black teenagers (Carlos Slaughter and Virginia Cottingham) who go from friends, to lovers, to holy matrimony. Carlos Slaughter joins the United States Army during that year which changes his quality lifestyle forever. In December 1991, the Slaughter family received orders for an assignment in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Sergeant Slaughter orders to Fort Jackson, South Carolina were deleted and Carlos received new assignment orders to Fort Riley, Kansas. Their children Carlene and Junior are teenagers brings many unfolding adventurous challenging family issues. Carlene discover her mothers past relationship with Teddy. Virginia discovers the truth about Carlos and Ellie.
