When the COVID-19 virus spread throughout the world, everything changed in an instant. Rules changed. Life changed. People and society adjusted to new norms, such as quarantine and wearing masks when out in public or in school. A year and a half later, we have a vaccine and life will soon go back to the way it used to be. But what about our young children? For a year and a half our children have been told to wear masks. Is it possible that wearing a mask is now their norm, and going to school without one will seem wrong?


This book is a first step in explaining and preparing our children for a future time when masks will no longer be needed. It also includes grammatical examples of the 5 W’s (and 1 H) and homophones such as “where” versus “wear” for teaching and discussion opportunities.
