The Carrigan sisters are back and ready to take down more criminals, as long as the team can control Natalia's glitches.

Prospective Neuro Incorporated's Seattle-based team survived their first assignment. Natalia Carrigan's psychopathic tendencies are being inhibited by PNI's biotech and her glitches appear under control. Natalia, her sister, Melody, and the team, are tasked with taking down a pimp preying on university students and a cunning art thief.

The team has its own problems. Questions of the loyalty of newest member, Davis, and a surprise visit from Juliette Coates, daughter of PNI's founders, has the team on edge. Melody and Alex's relationship is being tested when she finds him following another woman. Is it infidelity or a return to his criminal ways? Union North University's new facilities manager, Aidan Miller, is also creating difficulties for the team.

With suspicious deaths at a women's shelter and a local soup kitchen testing Natalia's control, and a first-year university student and fellow psychopath tormenting her, Natalia is fighting to stay out of her employer's underground hell. When she begins experiencing unexplained glitches, the team must pull together if they are to save Natalia or suffer the consequences.
