Based on the life of the author, Al Cliver, alias Pierluigi Conti, who encases several lifetimes into one. The story spans from a vagabond childhood, an extremely rigid education, tossed from one boarding school to the next, to his very early escape to freedom. In the background, the world that passes through the cultural and social upheavals of the 70’s and 80’s, and a provincial and true Rome that is revealed to us via its most curious stories. It spans the approach with psychoanalysis, his meeting with the Italian cinema, the discovery of 'being beautiful' and his numerous and many times, amazing adventures in the world of the B-movie genre. It explores the Amsterdam of emancipation and transgression --- a meeting place for all diversities, onto the savage Sri Lankan landscape and trade throughout Asia . This memoir, sometimes sad, other times humorous, is compelling and inevitably, creates a link between the reader and the protagonist who, always keeping his sense of humor, and his somewhat cynical irony, unveils his incredible life.
