About the Author



As a former Middle School Counselor, I have created word puzzles for over 25 years, and I have helped students with problems reduce their stress levels by teaching them how to create, design, and solve all kinds of puzzles, including word finds, cryptograms, and sudokus. Consequently, what I ultimately discovered was that my XYZ-DoKu puzzles (sudokus with letters and mystery messages) were especially fun for mostly everyone I encountered, from Middle School-aged students --and their teachers, too-- through middle-aged (and beyond). Also, for many years I had designed XYZ-DoKu puzzles for my retirement community newspaper, each with a different monthly mystery message. My puzzles have always proven to be thoroughly relaxing, challenging, and brain-enhancing, and so very enjoyable for all!
