However, on Christmas Eve, he is visited by his partner Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, who teach him about benevolence, charity, and goodwill.

Customer Reviews
Short but Sweet
I love Patrick Stewart's narration but was frustrated that this is an abridged version and only covers about half the book. That said all the well known parts of the story are included and his dramatisation really brings the story and characters to life. If you are not fussed about hearing the whole book this is a good version, well read.
Just for clarification
The review on 13/11/12 is incorrect about the length of the book. There are 2 tracks. Part 1 is 48:23 long, Part 2 is 59:06 long. Just in case this was putting anyone off.
A Christmas Carol
The reader is very good however it disappoints me that not all of the text from the original book is read, a real shame
