Very worthwhile "read" (it's an audiobook so should I say listen...). Moves at a steady pace, the story progresses quickly enough so you don't get bored but can keep up. Everything in the book feels real and close to home so not hard to understand like some sci-fi can be. I highly recommend this if you enjoy Star Trek, Stargate and similar intelligently written but fairly easy-going sci-fi. Finally the narrator is very good, produces different voices for each character extremely well and annunciates well, I think I've spelt that right.
