Customer Reviews
A slow build, ruined by political activism
The writer appears, like many of her ilk, to believe progressive activism is more important than entertainment or even retaining a broad church of readers that perhaps don’t think like her in her politics.
References to misogynistic, sexist, far-right, homophobia, racism, xenophobia and even heat pump etc abound, which many may well think are out of kilter with romantic fiction. But no opportunity should be missed in pushing the latest cultural zeitgeist’s.
You may well say that the fact the author lives in New Zealand, is perhaps indicative and unsurprising…I couldn’t possibly.
