Scarily similar to the current political situation
Looking at todays push for totalitarianism you the information on this book seems to have substance. With Alex Jones filing elites worshiping a 12 foot owl as well as mainstream now declaring aliens as a possibility, Bills declaration of a fake alien invasion to enable the slavery of mankind looks plausible.
