Unequal love
It’s really weird in this book where only Benedict is fighting to be with his true love, Sophie doesn’t fight for it at all. I understand that because of the trauma of her step mother verbally abusing her for years, which has lead to Sophie believing that her and Benedict can’t be together, but she doesn’t even fight for him once, leaving Benedict just looking a bit desperate. Overall this book is good there’s just a few things that make it less enjoyable for me
