Customer Reviews
do you like classic drama
This may be from the era of Orson Wells and golden oldies but it is a little jewel. When you watch an old black and white movie the scratches and lack of colour can dampen the spirit - but with a dramatic reading the magic just shines through. After all the colour and picture comes from you - the quality and vibrance of these actors of the past still ring true. Its fun spotting voices that were to be stars of the future, who only had bit parts at this time. Close your eyes and just let them take you to your own imagination. A bargan at these prices when compared to the cost of newer productions.
And yes there is the added fun of listening to the adverts of the past - the idea that a corporation of soup sellers would claim to be grateful to customers for buying their products - made me want to warm up a cup of something to sit and listen to this story. Buy it and enjoy it - and take it for what it is - nostalgic classic entertainment
