Publisher Description
A selection of the most chilling tales ever written.
Rats and mice, and beetles and creaky doors, and loose slates, and broken panes, and stiff drawer handles, that stay out when you pull them and then fall down in the middle of the night...Rats is bogeys, I tell you, and bogeys is rats, and don't you get to think anything else!
Ghosts, vampires, werewolves and even rats, all make an appearance in this collection of frighteningly good classic stories from Bram Stoker, Charles Dickens, Rudyard Kipling and more! Sure to delight on any dark night and narrated with chilling tones by Richard Pasco, classically trained actor and former leading member of the Old Vic Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company.

no breaks!
Although the stories are enjoyable, it is such a shame that these short story audiobooks cannot be created in chapters or sections, so that one can skip to the next story if desired. It is immensely frustrating to have to keep scanning through in an attempt to find the next story - it does rather spoil the experience. It can be done - so why hasn't it?
Why OH Why?
I have not listened to the stories yet but I am very very angry. This book is made up of several short stories. My intention was to play a story through speakers for all the family to enjoy while out camping. Common sense would suggest each story would be a chapter or track. OH NO! Over 5 hours of stories are on 2 tracks! How stupid is that.
