An engaging, honest story about one girl's struggle to hold her family together, from multi-award-winning Jacqueline Wilson.
Em adores her funny, glamorous dad – who cares if he's not her real father? He's wonderful to her, and to her little brother Maxie and sister Vita. True to form at Christmas, Dad gives them fantastic presents, including a real emerald ring for his little Princess Em.
Unfortunately he's got another surprise in store – he's leaving them. Will Dad's well-meaning but chaotic attempts to keep seeing Em and the other children help the family come to terms with this new crisis? Or would they be better off with a clean break – just like Em's arm?

:'( So sad...This made me cry so much. I am in a similar situation myself.... so that makes it even more sad. I guess that is how good it is though. The writing is really good and so it draws you in... </3 :'(
Waste of money but not waste of effort
total ZERO for the amount of money this book costs. i payed ZILCH for mine because i got it outta the library. but it is a good book if you're into J.W. it's not the best story but it's full of meaning. (if that's important to ANY1)
