Good listen
Enjoyed but I think Stephen writes better for male characters.

Amazing novel!!! So Holly is a well deserved millionaire? I loved the novel - she is one amazing lady. The novel I loved and will listen to it again immediately. As I have only heard Holly's character being read by Will Patton - it took me a while to settle into the audiobook. I have loved Holly Gibney's character since she first appeared in Mr Mercedes! She just grows on you and is maturing in every subsequent appearance. I just am enthralled with her quirkiness. Will Patton showed every nuance of a diffident yet so competent Holly. I would love to hear his narration of this novel. The setting in a Covid-19 society was apt and obviously the lockdowns kept Mr King very busy. Thank you! Of all characters in Stephen King's novels she rates with me in the top 1 of many notables. Love her to bits. Holly Gibney is far too young to retire or close down "Finders Keepers" - I already miss Bill Hodges and would certainly miss Jerome and Barbara Robinson. I am glad she picked up the 'phone in the end. Mr King - please keep your pen and paper ready for Holly's next novel! I loved it!
Terrible Narrative Accent
The accent may be understandable by Americans, but I get at best 60% of the words being spoken, so waste of time for me and I won’t be reading the book.
