Good Honest Autobiography Of A Well Loved Heavy Metal Legend
‘ I Am Ozzy’ by Ozzy Osbourne was Ozzy Osbourne’s autobiography written in 2009. Ozzy Osbourne is well loved and a singer, songwriter and media personality especially as the lead singer of ‘Black Sabbath’. Ozzy Osbourne unfortunately passed away in 2025 from a heart attack.
I am not a heavy metal fan although I like rock music but I did really enjoy Ozzy Osbourne’s tv series ‘The Osbourne’s’ and I felt that this would be a really interesting and humorous autobiography at times. So I decided to give it a listen to as a audiobook.
This was a really good autobiography which was very honest, humorous at times but also sad at times. The lifestyle Ozzy Osbourne led was a typical rock star lifestyle, with heavy alcohol and drugs consumption and smoking. It’s so honest as Ozzy Osbourne is honest about how his addictions and rock star lifestyle affected his life and his families. A really interesting and enjoyable book.
