Such a sweet and emotional romance.
The way Grayson is with Parker is so sweet and I am officially in love with my new audiobook boyfriend ;)
I love how their relationship develops and how their characters grow, Grayson and Harper are the couple who you can imagine sitting surrounded by grandchildren and still madly in love. Their audiobook made me cry but also made me laugh at the same time. I didn't want the audiobook to end.
Addison has this way of pulling her readers into her audiobooks with each sentence, that is why she is one of my favourite authors.
I love listening to audiobooks where you here about past characters and Lovers at Seaside is no exception and best yet.... there is more to come!!!
I cannot stop listening to Addison's books and don't think I ever will, a brilliant author with a brilliant imagination :)
Beautiful
Having won a competition, Grayson and the actress, Parker Collins, have been communicating through email for months. Although, even through the conversations, Parker hasn't given much of herself away. Grayson has shared his day to day life with her. After some time of radio silence, Grayson begings to wonder if he has completely misread their talks. Grayson decides to check her house, and finds her overcome with grief for the only family she has ever known. Grayson is at a loss to understand what has caused this to begin with, and assumes the worst. Given all this, he still finds himself drawn to Parker and becomes fiercely proctective of her.
As Parker begins to heal, and they spend more time together, they begin to enjoy their connection until secrets threaten their future.
I think of the stories of the Lacroux family, Grayson is perhaps my favourite. Their story is so sweet and Parker is written with such emotion, that I did tear up a little.
The audio version of this beautiful tale has two narrators, and it works really well. It somehow makes listening to the story better and it flows really well. I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
A great story to listen to
Parker is in Wellfleet to mourn her mentor and best friend Bert. Grayson having emailed with Parker for over a year is finally getting to meet her. The meeting doesnt go as planned as she is drunk and covered in chocolate. When they meet again there is an instant attraction. This is a great story told by both male and female narrators. It takes you on a journey of re discovering family and love. Nice to catch up with the Seaside ladies as they bring Parker into there fold. Loved it
