Good but too short
Would be good if it went into more depth!! Worth a listen though!
Biased view and out of date
Although it's out of date this is still quite informative as it gives the history and background. It appears to be unbiased on the whole but whilst listening I couldn't help think it was ever so slightly biased towards the Palestinian view. There are a few statements that are given as facts and I remember thinking "surely that's a matter of opinion" I continued with it and then right at the end there's a whole host of advice of who to give money to and how to lobby the government against Israel. It's still an interesting listen, just bare in mind the hidden agenda when listening.
This is an annoying book for the memory impaired.
If you want an idiot's guide to the middle eastern conflict with an annoying repetitive jingle throughout, set in the form of questions and answers with a presentation akin to a Blue Peter breakfast TV fest, then this is the book for you. Repetitive summaries for those with memory impairment, presented in a sugary sweet, dumbed down, jolly tone, this has to rate as a perfect guide for the ill informed. Please, never allow me to buy any more books in this series. I almost threw the CD out of the window.
