Fantastic Series of Books
The first in a excellent series, it always feels like spending enjoyable time with good friends.
Libby is a wonderful character exactly because she isn’t perfect, but real(warts & all) & she has a great cast of characters around her, no pun intended. Lesley Cookman gets the balance of elements just right which makes for a great read and a bonus it’s without lots of gore, unlike so many mystery novels today. Patience Tomlinson does a fantastic job narrating them.
I’ve read all the books in the series & also listened to them as audiobooks, multiple times over the years. As with all good series I just wish it was possible for them to be written quicker, though I understand why it’s not & it’s guaranteed to always be worth the wait!! I’ve always thought these would make for a great tv series too.
