Publisher Description

From the New York Times bestselling author of Small Great Things and The Storyteller, a “beautifully crafted novel” (People) that explores a family torn apart by conflicting needs and a passionate love that triumphs over human weakness.

Anna is not sick, but she might as well be.

By age thirteen, she has undergone countless surgeries, transfusions, and shots so that her older sister, Kate, can somehow fight the leukemia that has plagued her since childhood. The product of preimplantation genetic diagnosis, Anna was conceived as a bone marrow match for Kate—a life and a role that she has never challenged...until now.

Like most teenagers, Anna is beginning to question who she truly is. But unlike most teenagers, she has always been defined in terms of her sister—and so Anna makes a decision that for most would be unthinkable, a decision that will tear her family apart and have perhaps fatal consequences for the sister she loves.

My Sister’s Keeper examines what it means to be a good parent, a good sister, a good person. Is it morally correct to do whatever it takes to save a child’s life, even if that means infringing upon the rights of another? Should you follow your own heart, or let others lead you? Once again, in My Sister’s Keeper, Jodi Picoult “writes with a fine touch, a sharp eye for detail, and a firm grasp of the delicacy and complexity of human relationships” (The Boston Globe).

This is an amazing audiobook. It had me hooked from the word go. My Sister's Keeper has so many twists to the story, it grips you to the very end. It is sad in places and I found myself crying while listening to it on the bus - imagine trying to explain that to confused onlookers!

The previous audiobooks I have listened to have had poor narration but this is by far the best I've heard. There are four readers and none have an annoying tone or accent. Buy it now. I guarantee you will not regret it!

It doesn't matter if you don't like reading, or if your not into books or anything, from the first sentence on the first page of this book you will be hooked. It has the most simple yet complex meanings hidden behind every word, it explores every aspect of life, ANYONE can relate to it. This book will change your life. I love Jodi Picoult and think she is the best writer out there. Nobody is like her, she is often imitated but never duplicated. BUY THE BOOK. I havent bought the audiobook but i have read it and I was unable to put it down.
