A Must For Dog Lovers
I downloaded this book after reading Dog Days & found it thoroughly enjoyable. Andrew has a frank, self-effacing & witty style of writing and there are many ‘laugh out loud’ moments as he recounts stories of his dogs (especially Mabel & her daftness). He also lets you in a bit on his younger years & how his love for dogs was established early on. He educates the reader in various ways as he explains how dogs withstand a range of temperatures as well as the detail he goes into about the Munro’s for instance. As a dog owner myself I found this book easy to relate to especially when he talks about Olive’s behaviour ( I have a black Lab). Andrew is a talented author and narrator & this book is an absolute must for anyone who loves, owns or has owned a dog.

Having owned two Labradors I loved this book I can recommend it to any animal lover.
The part where Mable is shouting at the front gate made me spit my tea everywhere.
