FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE MILLION COPY BESTSELLER ONE DAY IN DECEMBER, COMES A BRAND NEW LOVE STORY
One cottage. Two strangers.
Every great love story starts somewhere...
Cleo writes about love stories every day. She just isn't living one of her own.
When the editor of her dating column asks her to marry herself on a remote Irish island - a sensational piece to mark Cleo's thirtieth birthday - Cleo agrees. She's alone but not lonely, right? She can handle a solo adventure.
Cleo arrives at her luxury cabin to find a tall, dark, stubborn American who insists it's actually his. Mack refuses to leave, and Cleo won't budge either. With a storm fast approaching, they reluctantly hunker down together. It's just one night, after all . . .
But what if one night on the island is just the beginning?
Following Cleo and Mack through heartbreak, self growth and friendship, One Night on the Island is an uplifting and immensely moving love story for fans of The Holiday, Lucy Diamond and Jojo Moyes.

Customer Reviews
Absolutely perfect.
Being new to audio books Josie Silver was my first author. This is my second book of hers, (other authors have been thrown in between, to some disappointment) I just love her! How can you not be invested in the characters of this book…From every corner of the world. I was almost in tears for both main characters. You have to read / listen to this book. Another masterpiece from this author. I just love her work.
Inspiring and beautiful

*Island of Dreams*
Cleo writes love stories for a magazine dating column, the only drawback is her own love life is no bed of roses 🌹🌹🌹as she is fast approaching her milestone 30th birthday she is pondering what’s next
Her editor comes up with an idea and a challenge. Cleo has to go to a remote Irish ☘️ island and self couple leading to her marrying herself. Is Cleo up for the challenge? You bet the last part of the trip means a boat across to the island which is pretty rough and a to make matters worse she shares it with a gruff American on the boat as well.
Cleo get to the cabin only to find the same gruff guy Mack in the cabin. There must be some mistake and they argue but they decide to deal with it the morning. One takes the couch the other one the bed.
The story is told from both points of view Mack has family ties to the island and is escaping from his own demons, Cleo wants quiet to write a book about her experience. Mack a brilliant photographer, wants to capture the island for an exhibition he is holding and find out more about his Irish ancestry.
Over time they find a way to co exist in the same space. The next boat off the island is a week away as each day goes each is counting the days for the other to leave.
This story had me in tears, it made me laugh and I loved every minute of it. A little part of it will stay with me.
