APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
After years of struggling with her mental health in silence—including anxiety and depression so severe she was eventually hospitalised—singer Frankie Bridge is keenly aware of the importance of speaking up and seeking help. Which is exactly what led her to write the aptly-titled Open, in which she gets candid about her lowest moments, as well as how she overcame them. Interwoven with expert advice from the psychologist and psychiatrist who helped her through, Open is as practical as it is powerful—a brave and honest guide to transforming your mental health. Movingly narrated by Bridge herself, this audiobook will have anyone who has suffered nodding along—and help us all find ways to better support those around us.

Good listen. Editing needs work on this audio though
Good listen, editing needed some work though on this audio... you may want to work on the end of chapter 6 where the guy talking goes blah blah blah, as he loses his place and restarts what he was saying 😂
Fantastic book!!
This book is so relatable if you have ever suffered with anxiety or depression. It’s so sad at some points but yet you understand and can relate to her feelings.
Grounding and life affirming
This audio book made me realise I was not alone. If you’ve suffered from mental health however small or large, or know someone who has. Then this book will make you understand why and how and all the questions in between. It’s life affirming knowing there’s hope, and reassuring how brute and honest Frankie’s account is. Her narration is very calming and easy to listen too. A very memorable listen for me. I could not recommend enough.
