Rapid Italian Vol 2... Excellent!
Definitely worth trying if you got on well with Vol 1! I've successfully navigated my way through Vol1 with great success, so it was a natural progression to go to Vol2. The sentances are longer than vol1 (to be expected) but with the same bursts of info as Vol1, hopefully I'll be as successful with vol2 as I was with Vol1! My Italian vocab is growing daily.
A Great Way To Learn
I've got both Vol 1 & 2, and enjoy playing them over and over. Its easier to remember things when its done in this format to music. I would say to get the best from it, use with a dictionary to check words as necessary, or as an enhancement to a workbook based course. However, for quick memory top-ups and on-the-go in the car, or on holiday at the poolside, these are excellent. Also, if you just want to pick up some phrases for holidays and business trips, without having to work too hard, this is a good way of doing it.
I have to say i was more than disappointed with this volume. if you are looking to progress in italian then this is definitely not a good way to go about it. the structure is basically the same as the first volume, however it just does not work as you begin to advance. i would not recommend this!
