Who doesn’t love a Vegas Wedding
Oh my word! What an emotional rollercoaster ride this was for me. Not just a funny drunk Vegas wedding romance. Oh no! There was lots of drama, big drama. I mean what do you expect when a girl from the wrong side of the tracks marries a billionaire, by accident! No matter how much women’s hockey star Charli Higgins wants to keep her drunken marriage to The Bruisers wingman Neil Drake under the radar, it just isn’t going to happen. Charli doesn’t trust easily, she’s had a hard life, her upbringing wasn’t the best, and although I understood Charli’s reasons for being so closed off and stubborn about her personal life, I desperately wanted her to put her trust in Drake. Drake truly was one of the good ones, yes he is uber rich, but even so he hasn’t got a mean bone in his body, he’s sincere, kind and super protective. The whole package, I loved him. This is a super fun, sexy read with some added drama, and some quite emotional scenes, and truth be told it’s a little angsty. My heart literally broke for Charli. Together though, I trusted in them to work through things, or should I say that’s what I was praying for. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin give a wholly believable performance as Drake and Charli, the chemistry between them gave me all the feels.
