This book had an intense feeling throughout, it is told over 2 timelines via Eve with a few pov’s from the culprit.
This is a story about Eve who was out taking a walk through the park at 8am on the way to meet her friend Jane. It is broad daylight but she is grabbed and attacked from behind which leaves her in a daze, paralysed with fear. All thoughts of meeting her friend disappears when she goes home and takes a bath…
She calls the police but she has no faith in them. With support from Ben her lodger he coaxes her to start living. He takes her to his gym and she slowly builds up her confidence. With her newfound strength she is on a mission to exact her revenge.
Her plan is bold but has she really thought it through? She is armed with a new look and contact lenses to change her appearance, when the crucial time comes to exact her revenge, will she live to tell the tale and who is playing who?
