Publisher Description
A whirlwind of vitriolic social commentary. Not subtle, not tactful, not sublime. It is, however, big, clever, and hilarious.
Internationally renowned comic Steve Hughes lights up the room with over 50 minutes of biting political stand-up, recorded live at The London Comedy Store. Experience one of Australia's most original and outspoken acts.
Hughes doesn't shy away from tackling the big issues in this show. Political correctness, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, group sex, asylum seekers, and the War on Terror all deliver a riot of intelligent debate and laughter. Welcome to Steve's happy comedy hour. Hail the Gods of Metal and Comedy!

Im finding it hard not to write pages to describe how incredible Steve Hughes is, but he doesnt need any kind of reference from me. GO SEE HIM LIVE!!!!
Good thinking comedy.
This man has a great style of comedy, i went to see this show at Cambridge and the itunes version is tame compared to that. His social commentary and informed views are far from paranoid rants, he's take on the middle east and the impending one world government speak of a man who sees whats coming and try's to get it across the best way he can.
I think Billl hicks said comedy is a double edged sword, on the one hand nobody gives you any flack because its all just a joke but on the other hand its not a joke.....this is very relevant to his style, you could make comparisons between the two and there are brilliant similarities but steve hughes well in his own class.
The Cambridge show also had a brilliant warm up act, his NZ friend sully, who was just as sharp and as my first NZ comic he made it special! I got to meet them both back stage and there really cool guys.
Thank you for an enlightening evening.
P.S if anybody has a copy of the cambridge act post here, i love to hear about the traffic cones again.
Better an export than Fosters
Must be seen live…..
