Such a disappointment
The characters are so thin one cannot care about them. And this is fundamental to a good story. So I won’t mention the philosophical banalities, an unconvincing plot, or the rich aromas of delicious food provided like scent in a cold bathroom. A friend recommended Louise Penny,, based on this detective novel, I found her a huge disappointment.
