Warm + punchy
I listened to The Girl on the Train as an audiobook and it completely hooked me. It’s tense, gripping, and genuinely hard to pause. I was constantly wondering what would happen next. I loved how the story is told through different characters’ perspectives, with timelines that shift and overlap in a way that keeps you alert. The details, the unpredictability, and the way everything links together make it so addictive.
After finishing, I watched the film adaptation, and honestly… it didn’t do the book justice. The movie is fine, but the book is so much more intense and entertaining. The audiobook especially makes it even more immersive.
First ever book, I listen to
I listen to this book about a year ago, when I went to Cornwall in the summer. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I was always on the edge of my seat. Truth Be Told, I listen to this book in one week. Ever so good.
