Adalyn Reyes has worked hard for her Dad’s football club. She wants to one day take over the club. After overhearing the man she thought was going to have a future she sees red and vents her anger, but unfortunately for her the whole thing gets captured on film and before she knows it, the video goes viral. Her father wants to save the club’s reputation but whose best interest is he protecting?
She is swiftly sent to a small town and her job is to turnaround the fortunes of the town’s failing soccer team. Without doing any research she creates quite the storm as she arrives and literally almost takes out her nearest neighbour with her car and vaguely recognises him.
She is used to smart pant suits, high heels 👠 and milder weather. This is the opposite and she quickly assesses she has not packed anything warm but presses on thinking she can cope.
She turns up at the club only to be faced with a fresh faced team of girls around 9 years old. The man who she butted heads with she realises is no other than a goalkeeping hero Cameron Caldani has been helping out. She is curious as to why he is living there let alone coaching the team. She instantly wants him dismissed. She can do this all on her own and that’s that. But, when it becomes abundantly clear she has a huge mountain to climb in order to make the team a success, she needs him on side.
With both of them at odds they need to find some common ground as she needs this team to work to show her father she can take over his club.
We then see how they try to make the team work and there are secrets in the town that her father would rather it stay that way. Along with that she is unexpectedly finding herself growing increasingly attracted to Cameron, but is it one sided…..
