A Leap of Faith

Annie has been in a relationship with Alexander for a long time. She happily continues and then all of a sudden she hits her 30’s and he finally pops the question. The wedding draws near and then the day arrives and Alexander is a no show and is not picking up his phone.

Humiliated Annie throws herself into her fitness and has a chance meeting with Patrick who she knew when she was 14 and she was confident and a strong character, a far cry from who she is today.

They start talking and her in laws to be suggest she goes on the honeymoon anyway that was a gift from them.
On a whim Patrick says he will go in her ex’s place.

From day one Annie and Patrick hit it off. They go on the honeymoon as friends and what will happen when they return? What secrets are they both carrying? Will she ever catch up with Alexander? What will Annie’s life look like going forward?

A great entertaining book and we see how Annie evolves and what she learns about herself and we find out if Annie really had a lucky escape
