'Mother of God, Lisa Jewell's on fire. The Night She Disappeared is UNBELIEVABLY good. I was utterly utterly agog.' MARIAN KEYES

'No-one tells stories like this better than Lisa Jewell ... she gets right into it, doesn't mess about, puts real-seeming characters with rich interior lives through 350 pages of insane suspense - and then hits us with an ending we never saw coming. I love it.' LEE CHILD

'I'm calling it early. This is Lisa's best book yet, and she always sets that bar high! Stayed up so late because I couldn't put it down.' ADELE PARKS, author of Lies Lies Lies and Just My Luck

*Twisted Love*

In 2017 One young woman Scarlett, has two people in love with her, a male and female. She also seems to cast a spell on others who want want to follow her everywhere. This book is based in Uckfield a place I know well.

One night a teenage Mum Tallulah mother of Noah is going on a date with her controlling boyfriend Zach Noah’s father who she no longer wants to be with. One problem she is in love with Scarlett and although Tallulah is going through the motions this is the night to end things with him. If things don’t go as planned, there is a Plan B.

Scarlett and friends crash the date with Zach and they end up going back to Scarlett’s home it’s called ‘Dark Place’.

Now as plan b is proceeding hence the crash party, Tallulah comes clean to Zach then this night changes everything.

In 2019, Sophie the new head teacher’s girlfriend, have both relocated from London. The job comes with a home and one day while looking around she finds a cardboard sign saying “Dig Here” this is eerily familiar to Sophie who writes fictional crime novels this sign is in her book…. With her natural inquisitive nature she explores. With a cloud hanging over what happened 2 years ago, the case comes straight back into focus and there is a twist at the end I didn’t see coming….
