In terms of commitment, The Power of Now is somewhere between using an online meditation app and going deep into the tenets of Buddhism philosophy. Spiritual adviser Eckhart Tolle has a wonderfully soothing voice that avoids woo-woo mysticism—during the course of this book, he reveals his own struggles with depression and an overactive mind, coming across as more of a relatable friend than some kind of guru. The Power of Now positions self-improvement as an ongoing process, not a specific goal…which is probably the healthiest way to think of it.

Awesome ..and much appreciated
Listening to this powerful audiobook, I understood Eckart Toal explain full acceptance, the pain body, what it means to surrender and what it means to be present.
One thing I learned recently was gratitude, as I beat Cancer two years ago, that made a massive difference to my mindset.
That helped me to take the time to learn more about meditation and “the present moment”, I highly recommend The power of now.
It’s helped Focus my thoughts and change the maelstrom of emotion into a much more positive paradigm, freeing me of much self-inflicted suffering.
There are many ways to be empowered; this book is one, after reading or listening to, it will leave you with no doubt about that.
