*DETECTIVE HOLE IS SOON TO BE A MAJOR NETFLIX SERIES*
Harry knows he shouldn't get involved.
A report of a rare and unusual gun - a type favoured by assassins - being smuggled into the country sparks Detective Harry Hole's interest.
Evil is closer to home than he knows.
Then a former WW2 Nazi sympathizer is found with his throat cut. Next, someone close to Harry is murdered. Why had she been trying to reach Harry on the night she was killed?
As Harry's investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that the killer is hell-bent on serving his own justice. And while the link between the cases remains a mystery, one thing is certain: he must be stopped.
But can Harry stop him in time?

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The third in the Harry Hole series, but the first to be translated into English—this is where Jo Nesbø’s detective saga really exploded into life. We meet Harry in a soon-to-be-familiar plight: licking his wounds after a botched operation but soon discovering something very sinister just under the surface of a routine investigation. We’re quickly zoomed into a world of neo-Nazis across the globe with Hole’s devil-may-care attitude sparking drama at every turn. Credit should go to narrator Robin Sachs, here: he captures the surly maverick’s personality beautifully and adds a frisson of tension only a great audiobook can provide.

Ok
Ok story line found it a bit of a struggle
Great work
Yet another great book from Nesbø. Recommend
Well worth giving a chance - brilliant
This is one of the best fiction books I’ve read. Yes it is complex in parts due to the twists turns and time leaps but wow if you’re sick of flaky mind numbing murder fiction then give this a chance. (I started and returned to later).
Has a bit of everything mystery romance humour tragedy. Very thought provoking.
Most names unfamiliar as either Norwegian or other but so refreshing to listen to something different. Effort is needed but I’m now hooked on this author.
