The best-selling scare series of all time brings you a thrilling repackage of the field of screams!
Jodie loves visiting her grandparents' farm. Okay, so it's not the most exciting place in the world. Still, Grandpa tells great scary stories. And Grandma's chocolate chip cookies are the best.
But this summer the farm has really changed. The cornfields are sparse. Grandma and Grandpa seem worn out. And the single scarecrow has been replaced by twelve evil-looking ones.
Then one night Jodie sees something really odd. The scarecrows seem to be moving. Twitching on their stakes. Coming alive . . .
Hahahahahahahah what a 🧀 ending!
At the end of this audiobook the scarecrow tries to kill the protagonist Jody but in the cheesiest way possible.
Basically Jody says that the scarecrow quote (wrapped it's arms around me tightly) not to be sexist but being narrated by a woman makes the quote (wrapped it's arms around me) part sound like something from a love story.
Maybe that's just because I read and listen to a lot of Jeff the killer love stories but come on R.L stein you can do better.
