It’s a good but old read
So funny to hear the Scottish narrator attempting to speak in a Yorkshire accent 😂 good classic but it hasn’t aged well… black people referred to as ‘blacks’ or ‘darks’
The Secret Garden
My wife bought her first ipad on Tuesday, this week. While exploring iBook she discovered The Secret Garden audio book was free and decided to download it. This morning, on reading her Emails she found she has been charged £6.99. Beware. In order to write this review I have to award at one star. This is definitely a no star.
Perfect
I wanted an audio book for my mother with dementia, this was perfect. The descriptions of the garden, the robin and the wonderful narrator brought the story to life for her. I enjoyed it immensely too but to see her face light up while listening made this book absolutely perfect. I will remember her listening to this forever. Thank you .
