Publisher Description

Two unexpected flatmates. One shared space. Will they cross the line into love?
Rosie had the perfect evening lined up: she'd come home early, slip into a sexy dress and surprise her boyfriend with date night. What she was not expecting was to find his bags packed and herself unceremoniously dumped.

But she can't even think about her heartbreak when she faces the more pressing matter of making rent this month. And in desperate times, she agrees to let out her spare room to her elusive upstairs neighbour.

Aled needs somewhere to stay while his place is being renovated, and she gets to keep her home. It's a win-win situation... At least in theory.

For Rosie has sworn off men indefinitely, and never saw herself living with one so soon after her breakup. But being in Aled's company day in, day out has this annoying habit of playing havoc with her heart...

On paper they're just flatmates, but could there be room for more between them?

The ultimate forced proximity, slow-burn romcom to get your hands on, for fans of Beth O'Leary, Portia MacIntosh and Mhairi McFarlane.

*The Grass is not always Greener*

This was a great read, I am still caught up in the madness of Christmas so a late review. I finished this a few days ago, it was the kind of book that crept up on me. On the surface it started off quietly then it grew into something special. It is amazing how when we cohabit that sometimes one puts their dreams on hold for the sake of the other. That will make sense if you read this book.

We have Rosie who gave up her university course to help look after her elderly relative who she doted on. She never went back to her studies having met James who is full of his own self importance. Little by little he took her for granted and all Rosie could think of is that they have been together for 10 years and maybe it’s time that he pops the question.

On the very night she wants to spice things up she is royally dumped. At the same time she keeps bumping into the new good looking man who has recently taken over the flat of her previous landlord. All she knows is his initial starts with A and he is a man of few words.

Now, faced with the hard facts that she will need to either move out or find a lodger in order to keep the flat she adores.

At the same time Aled needs a place to stay while he has his flat fixed up. Just like that Mr initial A, Aled is Rosie’s new flatmate.

Now, with Aled holding his own secrets and being guarded, Rosie is sworn off men how can this possibly work?

There are some funny moments as well as cringey ones and misunderstandings but what I love is how Rosie and Aled come out of their shells and navigate their hearts in the process, will they make it as friends or something more? ….

I loved this book and it is definitely a five star read due to how the book made me feel.
