Publisher Description
First came the days of the plague. Then came the dreams.
Dark dreams that warned of the coming of the dark man. The apostate of death, his worn-down boot heels tramping the night roads. The warlord of the charnel house and Prince of Evil.

Pretty offensive in places
Misogynist and racist. I get that it was written in the 80’s but it’s hard to listen to at times. Lots of women getting slapped and a load of N-words. Stay away

The Stand is appalling with its racist remarks
Not happy with the racist dialogue, thought this kind of stuff should have been eradicated a long time ago. Feel I have been cheated by paying for this book.
