We were absolutely riveted by Reece’s all-out mission to discover who betrayed him and why—and to take them out one by one. Author Jack Carr was a SEAL himself, and his inside knowledge shows in the specific details of warfare. Narrator Ray Porter pumps up the drama as he gives both the heroes and the villains all the energy they deserve. Wow..Jack Carr can write a book. I took the chance on this audiobook after following Jack Carr on social media and watching the TV adaptation on Amazon Prime. Story is fantastic, the detail the author uses in great, really immersive listen and the narrator really brings the characters to life. I’ve finished the entire James Reece series, and highly recommend it in its entirety. 5 stars

Listened the whole way through. Narrator is good. Reasonable but not a thriller. Very predictable. If a rainy weekend with nothing else to listen to it’s fine
