Read by Lesley Manville and featuring an exclusive Q&A between Richard Osman and Marian Keyes.

THE FIRST BOOK IN THE GRIPPING THURSDAY MURDER CLUB SERIES BY TV PRESENTER RICHARD OSMAN.

In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet up once a week to investigate unsolved killings.

But when a local property developer shows up dead, 'The Thursday Murder Club' find themselves in the middle of their first live case.

The four friends, Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron, might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves. Can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer before it's too late?

It is great to listen to a feelgood story that wittily reflects society as it is rather than beating the drum of a fashionable cause. Lesley Manville, shortly to be Princess Margaret in The Crown, has so far been sparing in recording audiobooks, but she skilfully immerses herself in Richard Osman's characters, making the most of his comic flair. - The Sunday Times

'Smart, compassionate, warm, moving and so VERY funny. I smiled a million times. This book will make a lot of people very, very happy' Marian Keyes

The Thursday Murder Club

A gem of a book and highly entertaining

Refreshing and Charmingly Funny

I’m already looking forward to the next book. I really bonded with the main characters and thought it was a refreshingly modern take on a traditional drama. It’s also made me want to go and see my grandma and ask her loads of questions about her life.

Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg doesn’t get things wrong, so when he bought the rights to this book he knew what he was doing. Great book, gentle and charming.
