The dark side of a dream life
Jane is working in a beautiful neighbourhood and whilst on her walks she is dreaming about how the other half lives. She dreams of having a charmed life where the biggest thing to worry about are clothes, nails and insignificant things.
Her own life is far from perfect, Jane was in fosters care and is now living with a creepy guy who let her rent a room in his crappy home and neighbourhood, but at the time it was better than what she was running from.
She literally runs into Eddie who lives in her favourite looking house and she is charmed by him. Now is he all that he seems? Jane & Eddie soon start dating and she moves in with him. Occasionally she hears a noise that she cannot explain then ignores it....
Will Jane ever discover what Eddie is hiding? Will he work out other secrets that Jane is hiding? Although this story is reminiscent of Jane Eyre it is still worth reading, the audio version is not the best I found the voice so irritating
Awful
OMG the narrator of this book has the most irritating voice, no emotion and terrible American drawl! I didn’t even get past the first chapter!! Disappointing as I was looking forward to the book!!
